Starkville chapter of Habitat for Humanity asking for volunteers

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The coronavirus outbreak is taking its toll on groups that rely on volunteers.

The Starkville chapter of Habitat for Humanity typically has groups of college students who spend their spring break helping the organization with construction.

Habitat officials say travel restrictions have forced most of the groups to cancel. Now they need the community’s help with a home under construction.

They’re asking anyone over 18 who is physically able and can volunteer for a day or more to call Habitat office during business hours.
