Starkville Board of Alderman Suspend Sanitation Director

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI)  WCBI has learned that Starkville city leaders suspended their sanitation director during executive session Tuesday night.

This is a personnel matter, but Emma Gandy will serve a 10 day suspension without pay. This period will be followed by a 6 months on probation with the city of Starkville.

No reason for Gandy’s suspension has yet been released.
