STARKVILLE, Miss (WCBI) – Marlon Bryant has been a fixture at Starkville High School since he enrolled as a freshman. After he graduated, the principal at the time, Dr. Stan Miller, gave Bryant a job as a helper around the school campus.
Over the last two decades, Bryant, who lives with autism, has touched hundreds of lives. Friday, many of those people returned to the school to celebrate his 38th birthday.
Among those celebrating: Starkville mayor Parker Wiseman, former school administrators, even some adopted family from WCBI-TV.
The celebration included cake, a prayer led by Bryant, and lots of gifts for the birthday boy.
