SPD Investigating Rash of Burglaries in Glenn Hollow Apartments
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Some Mississippi State University students are returning to Starkville to find they’ve been targeted by thieves.
Starkville Police Chief Frank Nichols says more than a dozen apartments were broken into in the Glenn Hollow complex on Old West Point Road. Nichols says most of the tenants are MSU students and the crimes happened while they were away for the holidays.
Burglars took mostly electronics like televisions, game systems and computers.
Nichols advises renters and homeowners to write down serial numbers on expensive electronics and keep a record of it.
He expects to make an arrest soon in the burglaries.
