South Lamar High School honors seniors with parade

MILLPORT, Ala. (WCBI) – With COVID-19 putting graduation in limbo, Millport found another way to recognize its seniors.

Residents lined up as South Lamar High School seniors were escorted around town for a senior parade.

The parade started in Kennedy and ended in front of the Town Hall in Millport.

Lamar County commissioner Jeff Long announced each senior’s name as they rode by.
