Source: Mississippi State QB Will Rogers is transferring to Washington
Former Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers is transferring to Washington, according to a source. ESPN first reported the news.
The Brandon, Mississippi native has four years of experience as a starter under his belt in the SEC. With the Bulldogs he threw for 12,315 yards, 94 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions. Rogers is landing with a team that has instilled an excellent winning culture. The No. 2 Huskies are undefeated, won the Pac-12, and made the college football playoff. They will face No. 3 Texas in the Sugar Bowl.
Rogers is the second Bulldog to transfer from Starkville to Seattle in the past two years. Running back Dillon Johnson left MSU for the Huskies last season and has been an incredibly valuable piece for Washington’s offense. He has 1,113 yards and 14 touchdowns this season.
Rogers has four years of eligibility remaining.
