Six Dead In Tuscaloosa County Plane Crash

TUSCALOOSA CO., Miss. (WIAT/WCBI) – According to CBS affiliate WIAT, six people are dead in a plane crash in Northport. They also say authorities are still on the scene.

The crash happened just after 11:00 A.M. Sunday morning. A Piper PA31 was heading to Oxford, Mississippi from Kissimmee, Florida. That’s when the plane started having engine trouble.

According to WIAT, witnesses say the plane went down near the farmer’s market on Tuscaloosa County Road 82.
