Sim Scott Seniors host Veterans Day program honoring women who serve

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A group of seasoned citizens in Columbus honored the women who serve our country.

The Sim Scott Seniors hosted a Veterans Day program at the community center.

Their program focused on the work and sacrifice of women in the military.

Master Sergeant Adrian Washington from the Columbus Air Force Base was the guest speaker.

The program also featured patriotic songs and readings.

The group invited service members and their family members to attend.
