Sibling Shoot-Out In Tishomingo County

TISHOMINGO CO., Miss. (WCBI) – One man is arrested and another in the hospital after a shooting in Tishomingo County.

The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office received a call Friday that a person had been brought to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka with a gunshot wound to the arm. Officials learned the shooter was still at the home, on Beachum Road outside of Iuka.

25-year-old Casey Pruitt was arrested for the shooting without incident at the residence. The weapon was recovered and collected.

The victim, 34-year-old Anthony Pruitt (the two men are brothers and live in the same home), was flown to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment.

This case is under investigation.
