A Few Showers/Storms on Sunday as Fall Takes Over!

SUNDAY:  We’ll start the day with a few clouds here and there.  Clouds will increase during the day as a cold front moves into the region.  Look for the cold front to approach areas from Tupelo, Oxford and Water Valley by late morning, then into the Golden Triangle and West Alabama during the afternoon hours.  Along the cold front, there is the chance for some showers and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder.  By Sunday Evening, winds will switch and come from the north at 10-15mph with gusts up to 25.

NEXT WEEK:  Signs point to a mainly sunny but much cooler week overall. We’ll start out the week with highs in the low 70s and lows in the 40s but temperatures are going to moderate to near average by Friday.  No rain is expected all week long save for an early shower Monday morning.
