COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – SUMMARY: An unsettled weather pattern is expected over the next week with showers likely tomorrow.
TONIGHT: Clouds will persist across the region, with scattered showers possible overnight. Overnight low temperatures will reach the upper 60s. Chance of rain: 40%.
THURSDAY: Overcast with scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. Afternoon highs near 80°.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Showers ending early. Sky becoming partly cloudy overnight with lows in the mid 60s.
THIS WEEKEND: Friday and Saturday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. A stray shower is possible, but most of the region will remain dry. A better chance of rain arrives Sunday with scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the low 80s Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: Scattered showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast Monday as a front slowly moves through the area. Rain chances decrease Tuesday, and temperatures are expected to only reach the mid-to-upper 70s through the end of the week.
