Shooting Suspect Indicted by Grand Jury

LOWNDES CO, Miss. (WCBI)- A New Hope shooting, leads to an attempted murder charge.

William Carr, was indicted by a grand jury on the charge.

The shooting happened in February on Center Street, in New Hope. At the time, two other people were charged with accessory after the fact.

Investigators told WCBI this was not a random shooting, and could’ve possibly involved drugs.
