Shooting This Morning At Columbus Apartments

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is shot this morning at an apartment complex in Columbus.

About 9:30 this morning, police received a 911 call about a shooting at The Crest Apartments.

When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound.

He was treated at the scene by Columbus Fire Department, then transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

A woman was seen leaving the scene of the shooting, and was later stopped by police for questioning.

She had a small child in the vehicle with her.

No names are being released in this incident.

Columbus Police say they believe this to be a domestic violence dispute.
