Sheriff: 5 Shot Outside Oktibbeha Co. Nightclub

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Oktibbeha County deputies are investigating an early morning shooting that sent five people to the hospital.

Sheriff Steve Gladney tells WCBI it happened in the parking lot of Club Rock, which is in the Rockhill community.

Five people were shot.

Gladney says one of them is in critical condition, and had to be airlifted to a Jackson hospital. The others were hospitalized in Oktibbeha County.

Investigators still aren’t sure what led up to the shooting.

They haven’t made any arrests yet, and continue to interview witnesses.
