At 229 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Killen, or 12 miles northeast of Florence, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Green Hill, Good Springs, Cartwright, Coxey, Oliver, Mt Rozell,
Anderson, Lexington, Center Star, and Killen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

a line extending from near Cherokee to 6 miles southeast of Wheeler.
Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Malone, Posey Loop, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport, Littleville,

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of North Mississippi, including the following
county, Alcorn.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 202 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Corinth, Glen, Hinkle, Theo, Farmington, Guys, Rienzi,
Kossuth, Allentown, Biggersville, Jobes, Gift, Wenasoga,
Hightown, Strickland, Crumtown, Lone Pine and Kendrick.

miles west of Tishomingo State Park, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Tishomingo, Oldham, Dennis, Belmont, Paden, Bloody Springs, Carter
Branch, Mingo, Holcut, Midway, Petertown, Tishomingo State Park, and
Neil.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for northeastern
Mississippi.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
