Tennessee River at Savannah

For the Tennessee River...including Savannah...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tennessee River at Savannah.

* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 378.0 feet, Coffee Landing Road is flooded. Most lots
at Big River Plantation Resort are flooded. West end of Hamilton
Rock Lane is covered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 364.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of
378.1 feet early Thursday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 370.0 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
