forecast.

forecast.

* WHERE...Shoal Creek near Iron City.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water begins to flood portions of Railroad
Rd east of Hwy 242, and approaches Wayland Springs Rd Hwy 242
north of Iron City. These roads may be impassable at higher levels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.0 feet and rising.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:30 AM CDT Sunday was 19.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.0
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this evening.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

Tennessee River at Florence affecting Lauderdale and Colbert
Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tennessee River at Florence.

* WHEN...From this evening to late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Alabama State Highway 20 is flooded at the
underpass below U.S. Highways 43 and 72. The underpass will likely
be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening
to 19.6 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage early Wednesday afternoon to 16.7 feet Thursday
evening. It will rise to 17.2 feet Friday evening. It will
then fall to 17.1 feet Saturday morning. It will rise to 17.2
feet Sunday, March 23. It will then fall again and remain
below flood stage and linger in action stage through Sunday.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
19.6 feet on 03/15/1909.

south of West Point that leads to the Tibbee Creek bridge near
Tibbee.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

just after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of
