Services Set For Slain Mother And Daughter

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two of the victims killed in a string of shootings in Montgomery County last week will be laid to rest this weekend.

Funeral services for Marquita Hill, 32, and her mother, Carolyn Sanders, 59, will be held Saturday at 11:00am at Roberts & Sons Mortuary.

A visitation will be held there Friday.

The mother and daughter were gunned down in their home last Wednesday.

Hill leaves behind a 12-year-old son. Her brother tells WCBI he will now be caring for his nephew.

Also killed in the shooting spree was Kenneth Loggins, 32. He was shot at a home in Winona.

A fourth person, Marcus Brown, was also shot, but survived.

Odell Hallmon, 40, is charged in the triple murder.
