Second Meth Lab Suspect Arrested in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Hamilton man is behind bars after drug investigators found a meth lab in Monroe County.

On Wednesday, officers with several law enforcement agencies arrested 39-year-old Jonathan Cole in Vernon, Ala.

They say Cole was wanted in connection with the meth lab, found on McDuffie Cemetary Road last week.

Investigators have charged him with manufacturing methamphetamine, and other drug related charges.

Authorities Friday arrested 35-year-old Hamilton woman Samantha Ferraro in connection with the investigation. Following her arrest, authorities began the search for Cole.

Ferraro was charged with possession of meth precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

Cole will be held in the Monroe County Detention Center.

His bond has not been set.
