Sct’d weekend storms, hotter next week
SATURDAY: Scattered showers and storms are likely again with the rain chance at 50%. Any storm may produce locally heavy rain and frequent lightning. Highs will be around 90° with heat indices ranging from the mid 90s to around 100°. Temperatures will be much cooler around any storm that develops.
SUNDAY: Additional showers and storms are in the forecast but the rain chance decreases to 40%. Highs are going to remain around 90°.
NEXT WEEK: Rain chances decrease as temperatures increase. Highs should be in the mid 90s by Tuesday or Wednesday under partly cloudy skies.
