Schaefer Named SEC Co-Coach of the Year, Faleru 1st Team All-SEC

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WCBI/SEC) — The Southeastern Conference announced its 2015 women’s basketball postseason awards Tuesday, highlighted by Mississippi State’s Vic Schaefer and South Carolina’s Dawn Staley being named Co-Coaches of the Year. It’s the first time in league history that co-coaches have been named.

First-team and second-team All-SEC honorees, All-Freshman team, All-Defensive team, along with Player, Coach and Freshman, Defensive Player, 6th Player and Scholar-Athlete of the Year were chosen by the league’s 14 coaches. Ties were not broken.
