Runoff Election on the Way in Ecru

ECRU, Miss. (WCBI) – A run-off election is on the way in Ecru.

Four candidates took part in Tuesday’s (8-27) special election to fill Jimmy Whitehead’s place on the Board of Aldermen.

Whitehead resigned citing his wife’s health issues.

With every voted counted, the top finishers are Bill Nance and Berlon Quillian.

They will meet in a run off on Tuesday, September 10th.
