Road Delays in Natchez Trace

NATCHEZ TRACE, Miss. (WCBI) – Drivers who use the Natchez Trace in the Mathiston area will encounter some delays starting Wednesday.

Crews will begin repairing the Trace bridge over Highway 82 on Wednesday that a truck struck earlier this year.

Work should be completed by early next year. But until then, drivers on the trace will see some lane closures.

Drivers on Highway 82 should experience closures only a couple of times during the five-month process.
