Ripley Teenager Facing Rape Charges

TIPPAH CO., Miss. (WCBI) – An investigation is underway after a teenager is charged with rape and sexual battery.

18-year-old Cameron Jacob Pannell was arrested on February 7 on warrants issued by Justice Court Judge Angela Pounds.

Pannell is charged with rape and sexual battery involving a 14-year-old. His bond was set at $50,000 dollars.

Pannell’s case will be presented to the next grand jury, and additional charges are expected.
