Reward For Thanksgiving Shooting Information

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The city of Columbus is offering over ten grand for information that leads to the arrest and murder conviction in Thanksgiving’s deadly shooting in downtown Columbus.

Police say, hopefully a $15,000 reward will bring witnesses forward.

Cordell Lewis died at Baptist Memorial Hospital after a shooting outside the Trotter Convention Center.

Last December, city council approved the reward money for a case like this.

Chief Oscar Lewis says a large crowd was at the event that night and urges anyone who saw something to come forward.

A special line has been set up. If you know anything, call 877-273-4552.
