Video: Restaurant Offers Free Lunch To Law Officers

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville restaurant shows appreciation to local officers with a hot lunch.

The Veranda treated members of the law enforcement community to a free lunch Monday.

Managers and servers say they wanted those who protect and serve to know their neighbors appreciate their sacrifice of time and sometimes safety.

The officers appreciated the free meal and the meaning behind it.

Around twenty-five officers enjoyed the free lunch.
