RECAP: Florida Upsets #23 Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — It was a happy homecoming for former Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen, while the Bulldogs are left with more questions than answers.

Florida defeats #23 Mississippi State, 13-6.

Offense was the issue again for Mississippi State (3-2, 0-2), scoring 13 total points to open conference play.

The Bulldogs compiled 202 yards of total offense, while converting 2-12 on 3rd down.

“Certainly not where we want to be at this point in the season,” Mississippi State head coach Joe Moorhead said after the game, “We got to figure out a way get the thing right, rally together, and get this thing going in the right direction.”

Mississippi State stays in Starkville with a home game against #10 Auburn, Saturday (6:30 PM CT ON ESPN2.)
