Ray Praises Starkville’s Gavin Ware

Gavin Ware arrived at Mississippi State from down the road at Starkville High School. Ware, who is a big bodied forward, needed to get his weight down a bit in order to be at his best.

“It’s real simple he has played better since losing some weight. He came in here weighing 290lbs before trimming down to 270 and since he’s done that he has looked really good” Ray said.

Maroon Madness will be Friday night at 6pm in downtown Starkville and the Bulldogs will have their first practice on Saturday morning.
