Rain Likely on Tuesday and Wednesday

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – An area of low pressure along the Gulf Coast will bring a chance for soaking rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and dry with lows in the low 50s.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy and dry. Dress for a mild afternoon with highs near 70°.

TUESDAY: Cool, cloudy, and damp. Showers finally arrive by Tuesday morning, first to the south, then slowly spreading northward. Rain could be steady from time to time; umbrellas will be needed. Temperatures will only reach the low to mid-60s on Tuesday afternoon.

WEDNESDAY: Another messy day of weather. Wednesday will be cooler and more breezy. Off-and-on showers are likely, especially during the morning. Clouds and rain will keep most places in the upper 50s, and winds could gust 15 to 20 mph at times. Rain gear will be needed.
