Video: Preschoolers Visit Columbus Nursing Home

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Children from a Columbus daycare spread Christmas cheer to some seasoned citizens Tuesday.

The preschoolers from Tender Loving Care Creative Learning Center spent time singing carols and giving out gifts and cards to the residents at Trinity Nursing Home.

The children have spent the last couple of weeks making their gifts.

The visit was a special treat for the residents, especially those who may not have regular visits from family.

The preschool teachers say you’re never too young to learn about the real meaning of the holiday season.
