Prentiss County man charged with aggravated assault

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) –  A Prentiss County man is facing charges after allegedly hitting a family member with two different weapons.

Randy Trulove, 36, was charged with aggravated assault use of a deadly weapon.

On December 12, Prentiss County deputies were called to County Road 5110 where the victim was covered in blood and bleeding in from the head.

The victim accused his nephew, Trulove, of hitting him with a baseball bat and tire tool.

Trulove’s bond was set at $20,000.
