Power restoration still ongoing after tornado
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) Tornado victims are moving quickly to get power restored at their homes.
The city of Columbus’ inspection department has issued at least 41 electric permits since the twister hit.
Home and business owners must get an electrician to fix any issues with the building.
Once the repairs are approved by the inspection department, electricity can be reconnected.
At last check, about 100 homes could not receive electricity.
