Portion of Highway Dedicated to Fallen Marine

Sgt. Jonathan Lambert

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-A portion of Highway 4 in Prentiss County is renamed in honor of a fallen marine. Sgt. Jonathan Lambert was 28 when he died in 2003, after suffering injuries from an IED in Iraq. Today the Mississippi Department of Transportation renamed a section of highway four east through New Site in his honor. Sgt. Lambert grew up in the New Site community.
