Police: Machete Wielding Man Tries To Break Into Home

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Police say a man uses a machete to try and in break into a home in Booneville.

Booneville Police say the wielding machete man is Jackie Sims, 62.

It happened at a home on Howser Drive.

Police say during their investigation, they determined Sims had gained entry to the residence and attempted to go inside again once they arrived on scene.

Sims is charged with Burglary of a Dwelling and his bond is set at $10,000.
