Police Investigate A Second Weekend Shooting In Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The second weekend shooting in Columbus happened early Saturday morning.

It took place in the 400 block of Summerhaven.

One person was shot and taken to the hospital, just like the first shooting.

Shelton says the victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

He adds this victim is also not cooperating with police.

Investigators are working to identify the suspect.
