Video: Police Charge A Man With Robbery In Joseph Tillman Case

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – U.S. Marshals arrested Syboris A. Pippins, 18, of Columbus Tuesday for the robbery of Joseph Tillman. The alleged incident preceded Tillman’s murder.

The robbery occurred on Maxwell Street in Starkville. Pippins’ bond is $50,000. His initial municipal court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Additionally, Starkville police added a charge for Jaylen Barker, the young man charged with murder in Tillman’s death. He’s now facing a possession of a stolen firearm charge.
