Police allege man stole cellphones, watch from his job in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A man was accused of taking two cellphones and an Apple watch from his job.

Now, Devonte Banks is charged with embezzlement.

Court documents alleged that the stolen items were worth more than $2,000.

Banks was also accused of stealing a phone case.

Starkville police continue to investigate.
