70 year old Willie Davis pleaded no contest to aggravated animal cruelty on connection with the March incident.

Davis was caught on video dragging a dog known as Champ behind his truck.

Chickasaw Sheriff’s officials say Davis apparently tied Champ to the bumper because the dog had been chasing cattle in the pasture.

Davis is currently liable for $812 in  medical bills and Champ will now be placed up for adoption.
