Plans To Build Grocery Store On Hold

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Plans to build Brooks Grocery is on hold, after dirt work began back in August.

Owner Brooks Davis would not tell WCBI why the project is on hold.

However, Davis has previously told WCBI a proposed Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market store could impact his decision on whether to build.

Right now, plans are to build Brooks Grocery at the intersection of Coley Road and West Jackson Street Extended and have an AT&T retail store in the same complex.
