Pile Of Cash Seized In Narcotics Arrest
TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Tishomingo County deputies seize narcotics, handguns, and a pile of cash during an arrest.
Dustin Leatherwood of Corinth and Kimg McGee of Booneville were stopped on Beachum Road in Iuka for erratic driving last Friday, January 5.
Deputies then searched the vehicle after a strong odor of marijuana was detected.
The search turned up alleged marijuana, along with two pistols.
Once at the jail, the suspects were reportedly found to be carrying more marijuana and methamphetamine as well.
Both suspects were charged with Introduction of Narcotics To A Correctional Facility.
McGee was additionally charged with Felony Possession, Tampering With Evidence, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
The two suspects were out on bond from other counties.
