People Enjoy Columbus’ Art Walk
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Event organizers at the fourth-annual Art Walk in downtown Columbus say the event has grown each year.
People walk up and down 5th street Thursday evening enjoying work from nearly 30 local artists while taking in the recently-cool weather.
Local music outside filled the streets as people had the chance to buy everything from watercolor paintings, to pottery and jewelry.
Eighteen businesses took part in the event. Many opened their doors to artwork, provided discounts and stayed open later than usual Thursday.
Columbus Main Street and the Arts Council sponsor the event.
