Pearl River Resort will not open for Memorial Day Weekend
NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Pearl River Resort in Neshoba County will remain closed.
No timeline on reopening was given in Tuesday’s announcement from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
The tribe owns and operates the Pearl River Resort and Bok Homa Casino.
Tribal property is not subject to state gaming regulations. The Mississippi Gaming Commission is allowing casinos to reopen Thursday.
Resort management said new cleaning technology and protocols will be in place once they reopen.
There is a golf course, water park, and two casinos on the Pearl River Resort property.
