Oxford Woman Arrested For False Reporting Of A Crime
OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford woman is arrested for reporting a crime… that never happened.
Oxford Police charged 18-year-old Kathlyn Anderson with false reporting of a crime.
Anderson had called police and reported that her car had been stolen while officers were actively pursuing it.
Anderson later admitted to conspiring with her husband, so he could ditch the car during the pursuit and try to get away without being arrested.
She was formally charged with falsely reporting a crime, and her bond was set at $5,000 thousand.
