Oxford police make an arrest for Possession of a Weapon by a Felon

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – On Nov. 30, the Oxford Police Department initiated a traffic stop on Highway 6 for a motor vehicle violation.

After an investigation, 41-year-old Jeffrey Wilkins of Lafayette County was arrested for Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.

He was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $40,000 bond.
