Oxford man formally charged for making bomb threat in Walmart

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford man is formally charged for making a bomb threat in the Oxford Walmart on Sunday.

Jordan Montrey Williams is charged with False Reporting of a Bomb, Explosive, or Weapon of Mass Destruction.

Williams was arrested Sunday after telling store employees that he had a bomb.

Law enforcement and K9s searched the building after everyone was evacuated.

There were no explosives.

A Lafayette County Court judge has set his bond for 50,000 dollars.
