One Dead in Oktibbeha County Crash

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss (WCBI) – One person is dead after a two-car crash in Oktibbeha County Friday morning.

According to the highway patrol, 48-year-old Roger Swindle of Mathiston hit an SUV from behind driven by 34-year old Jennifer Breazeale. The crash happened on Highway 82 near Toby Henry Road just before 8:30.

The SUV veered into the median and rolled over.

Breazeale was taken to OCH Regional Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. Swindle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by MHP.
