UPDATE Video: One Dead in Highway 45 Alternate Crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus woman is dead after a single car crash.

Around 4:40PM Wednesday 49 year old Ella Hill was traveling North on Highway 45 Alternate in a 2006 Dodge Charger. Hill ran off the road, striking a support on the overpass..

A medical helicopter was dispatched, but she was declared dead at the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating.
