One More Chilly Day Before Summer Returns

TONIGHT: The showers will continue through the evening and temperatures will drop into the upper 50s. Winds will also begin to die down to 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Rain coverage will vary across the area. Some may hang on to the showers into the afternoon, but some may be clear by the mid-morning. Otherwise skies will remain mostly cloudy and temperatures will top out in the low 70s.

THU/FRI: The sunshine will return and temperatures will begin their climb back to normal. Thursday highs will be inn the low to mid 80s and on Friday we will warm up into the upper 80s. Overnight lows increase to the mid and upper 60s. It looks like we’ll have another beautiful Friday for high school football.

SAT/SUN/MON: Summer begins its last hoorah. Highs will once again climb into the upper 80s and close to 90. There will be plenty of sunshine and the humidity will begin to increase as well. With the heat and the humidity returning, the chance for a stray afternoon storm returns as well.
