One Arrested, Two Wanted In Cyberstalking Investigation
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is arrested for making cyber threats and for unlawfully carrying a gun.
Yesterday, Columbus Police arrested 32-year-old Freddie Williams Jr. on charges of cyberstalking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Williams allegedly sent threatening messages electronically, posting a video online where he threatens to physically hurt someone, and displayed a gun.
A report was filed with police by the person being threatened on July 26th, which said Williams and two other men were threatening to do him bodily harm.
Freddie Williams’ bond was set at $25,000 dollars.
A warrant was issued yesterday charging Freddie Williams Jr. with cyberstalking.
Two other men were listed on that arrest warrant.
Police are still looking for 24-year-old Marcell Bishop and 24-year-old Gerald Williams in connection with this investigation.
