One arrested, two wanted in connection to Columbus shooting
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police arrested one accused gunman and are searching for two others.
Roy Wallace Jr. was charged with aggravated assault. He’s being held without bond.
Columbus Police Chief Fred Shelton said the gunfire happened in the 1900 Block of 8th Avenue North on Saturday afternoon.
He believed an argument led to a fight and then the shooting happened.
Officers are still searching for 25-year-old Tommie Lee Flowers III and 24-year-old Kenny Riheam Armistad.
They are wanted for aggravated assault.
Shelton said Armistad no longer has dreadlocks.
The victim in the shooting was treated and released from the hospital.
